There is a Weatherspoons in Rochester within walking distance of Rochester
Station its also within semi walking distance of Strood if your coming from
Maidstone......
I would suggest, that if 3 or 4 want to meet up in a pub then
they organise it. Then put a post up, if more turn up then its not a major
loss if they don't its not a major issue.
The issue with Maidstone was that 1. We could not find each other. 2.
Things came up and two people turned up who were not really
the original organisers.
We probably ought to also think about local advertising to get more local
newbiees in. If holding a meet in Medway we ought to be able to pull a
reasonable crowd from Medway with out needing the large group we have from
Tonbridge....
On a similar side we (did) have a large group of people from Tonbridge so
why don't they hold a meet of two of some kind in Tonbridge.
Internet access is not vital so long as the beer is good.
Peter.
