Hi Luca,
Welcome to the list.

The Pi 3 can network boot
https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/raspberrypi/bootmodes/net_tutorial.md
once booted dd the image from an NFS share to the SD, may take a while.
Alternately write the initial OS to the SD then use something like Chef or
Puppet to set the hostname and join to the domain.
