Hi Simon.

Welcome to the list! I am based near sutton on sea. I am an intermediate 
linux user and enjoy tinkering with raspberry Pi's, as well as producing 
linux distributions for the visually impaired with speech. my 2 
favourite distros are arch and debien, i've yet to try cent os.
