i like it, it adds a certain something... however...
you say a dark blue background is not good for the eyes, but actually
black on white is one of the worst combinations... everyone has there
own 'best' colour for backgrounds but no-one has white, just a strange
fact i picked up from my dyslexic lessons!!

bearing this in mind it maybe an idea to use a different
background/text colour combination... but I'm not sure what'd look
best... happy to help you play though
