Red Hat - Technical Account Manager
Red Hat, Worldwide Leader in Linux and Open Source Technologies, is
now looking to recruit a bright individual to join its rapidly
expanding and dynamic Enterprise Support team based in the UK.
Responsibilities:
Technical Account Management
Maintaining high degree of customer satisfaction
Level 3 technical support to strategic customers and partners
Profile:
5 years commercial Linux experience
Systems admin experience
Team player
Experience with dealing with high level customers
Flexibility, proactiveness, and can-do attitude required
Good team player – self motivated
European languages welcome
Strong troubleshooting skills and experience
Enterprise support/consultancy experience
Development experience
Active or history of participation within the Open Source community
highly desirable
Desired skills:
Kernel and application debugging
Networking
Clustering (HA, load balancing, etc.)
Enterprise storage (SAN/NAS)
Databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, mysql, etc.)
Network services (Apache, Bind, NFS, SSH, krb5)
Development (C, C++, J2EE, Tomcat) / RPM building
Any other Linux distributions/UNIX-type operating systems
Preferred education:
IT degree or equivalent IT field experience
RHCE preferred
Permanent position
