Greeting all,

Cathcart Associates are recruiting for several high-end web developers for a city centre client in Edinburgh. You will be joining a highly regarded technical team to work on cutting edge, business critical new projects.

We are looking for people who are passionate about building high quality, high performance systems - very technical developers, who have not only the experience building complex web applications but also the skills to gather requirements and produce high-level technical designs. Ideally you will have worked on large scale, database driven, customer facing websites, within focused technical teams.

Technical background:

· Python/Django

· Excellent JavaScript/CSS skills - You must be fully conversant with what JavaScript and JavaScript libraries can do.

· JSON

· Distributed data storage

· Test driven development

· Solr/Lucene

· Branched development (using SVN) and continuous integration

· AJAX

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, growing organisation in a high profile role. It is offered as a 9 month contract, or ideally a permanent role. Paying circa £35,000 - £40,000 for permanent staff, or £250 - £300 for contract. Working from home is a possibility for the right candidate.

If you are interested, or know anyone who might be, please get in touch.

Kind regards,

Sam
