Systems Administrator - Linux - industry leading software company.

Location: Cambridge

Salary: £35-45k + benefits

An excellent opportunity for a Systems Administrator with a specialisation in Linux systems to join a rapidly expanding software company, a global leader in their field, whose software is deployed through the cloud and on client site.

Systems Administrator requirements:

Essential skills & experience

·         Commercial experience as a Systems Administrator (or a deep Technical Support or similar).

·         Good experience with operating systems - primarily Linux (Red Hat) and ideally some experience with Windows.

·         Good scripting skills with Bash / Shell and ideally some experience with one of Python / Perl / Ruby.

·         Good communication skills.

·         Strong understanding of TCP/IP and associated networking technologies and some experience with network security.
Desirable skills & experience

·         Good academic achievement in a relevant discipline - Computer Science or similar.
