Senior OpenStack Systems Engineer is sought by a leading e-commerce brand in Amsterdam. This is a fantastic time to join my client; they have experienced rapid technical growth in the past 18 months and have had success on a number of projects including migrating their back end systems from legacy PHP to Java and implementing strict configuration management tools.  This role will be working within the web operations team and will specifically be responsible for building and supporting an OpenStack cloud based environment.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer at the moment in a high transactional environment.  You will specifically have worked with OpenStack in a commercial environment and will feel comfortable building and supporting an OpenStack cloud based solution.  This will be coupled with experience in Linux (ideally Debian, but other distributions will be considered) and Puppet for config management/automation.  Experience with other cloud computing technologies such as RackSpace would certainly make you stand out from the crowd.
