To whom it may concern.
Yes, I am available on a 4-th of January. You will have to explain what is a
laptop clinic (the information cannot be found on university website) and
why is it going to take so long
to connect me to the network.
I am not allowed to use the SuperRoamNet and it my hw address is banned from
RoamNet +
the ResNet requires the hw address registration too. This means the computer
services are seriously
interfering with my studying process over the holiday period. For the module
MUSI 324
my research topic is "Promoting new talent using file-sharing methods and
specifically BitTorrent protocol". The MWS machines available throughout the
campus will not run any bittorrent
clients, as you know. This means I am not able to do my studies in full,
because of the reason that
Computing Services are not following the standard procedure for connecting
the Linux machine
to a network as described here: http://wireless.liv.ac.uk/linux.php
