When I got ADSL, a modem/router plugging in to my ethernet
port, it turned out just to be a matter of logging in to the router
via web interface and entering password etc, and in Linux's
Network setting static local IP and gateway. If USB modem
I guess it's trickier. Maybe you meant something different?
