[Nottingham] Soundblaster live and Mandrake 9.0

Greetings,
I have managed to get a soundblaster live card working just great in linux -
I've no experience with mandrake though, so I couldn't tell you what your
*problem* is, though it looks like it's got its module aliases in a twist.
Perhaps try manually installing the soundcard module, as root: "modprobe
emu-10k1" perhaps? Are you using drivers that came with your distribution? If
so, I recomend downloading and installing the latest ones from source (Also
as opposed to using the ones contained in the kernel source) from
http://opensource.creative.com/
