SuSE...Being a fellow SuSE user I'd suggest you check over your firewall
config.  Especially if you're using the pro version, check you're not
running both firewalls listed in the runlevel section.  Also check that
it's not already started on boot.

Haven't checked the firewall settings so will have a look into it.  I'm
using SLES 9 and I don't know the default settings.
