Yes, or from anywhere else you specify.

Don't know on that one. However, for Mandrake's urpmi, you get the file 
sizes specified so that you know in advance how much is going to get 
installed.

I've been using Bittorrent for various iso downloads and it works very 
well. It should tolerate the 2 hour time slots to do a resume, although 
I would expect it to be far too tedious to try a 2GB download!
