I've seen lots of newsnet postings about BT Voyager stuff. Not read any 
of it! (I'm happily on ntl. BT is too much of a --- 'Dinosaur' (:-(( Try 
Google.

You'll have a far easier (& reliable) time using an ADSL -> Ethernet 
modem (& router). They are now very cheap, so cheap that it isn't worth 
fighting with USB.

There's even a PCI ADSL modem card available at less than £10 now. 
You'll have to check whether it is supported on linux though. I've only 
recently seen one.
