Hi Roger,

There were a number of reasons for revoking my previous key - They failed to work with a 64
bit Lubuntu I installed - GPA Kleopatra Kgpg Thunderbird and Enigmail. I spent many
fruitless weeks trying to find a solution to this problem. I even tried an older version of
Thunderbird and Enigmail - which usually worked. But whilst the key worked fine on a 32 bit
Lubuntu it would not sign or encrypt on a 64 bit Lubuntu. So some time last year I revoked
that public key and last week - noticing it was still in my keyring I deleted it.

In fact I deleted lots of expired keys - so now I have a relatively clean 198 keys. People
had have my old key will be aware they share the same information. Perhaps when I come back
we will meet in the Notts Linux Group and have a beer!

Be Happy!

David
