[Nottingham] printer recommend for Linux?

One lovely thing about Ubuntu is that when you install a new system with 
the printer turned on, it installs the printer as part of the 
installation process.  Except for the testing version of Yakkety 
(16.10).  Ubiquity (the installer) crashes before it formats/copies 
files etc.

I'm waiting for a fix.
