Thanks for that :)

Will be happy to discuss anything on the rudiments of radio comms and
flying quanta/waves, including figuring out how we can get those light
beacons of yours to reflect off the ionosphere for DX light-comms.

Not sure what inspired that little experiment, but I like it!

Lots of nice overlap with Linux and radio, as you'd imagine. Like
listening to East Mids Airport on a £20 digi-TV dongle (and baby
monitors, garage doors, remote mains socket switches...) or using a £20
handheld radio to connect to a local repeater and from there out to the
world. Yep, much fun to be had at the moment.
