[Preston] messing with wine

Hello=20
Being a noobie to Linux I'm still struggling with a number of things. One=
 of=20
those things is Wine. I can't get it to do anything. I can't even get it =
to=20
run notepad wich I know it can run. I have a dual boot system with madrak=
e 9=20
and Win XP. I've tired using Wine from RPMfind and Codeweavers-Wine. I ge=
t=20
more action from the codeweavers one as at leats it lets me edit the conf=
ig=20
wich is more than what I get fo rthe normal Wine. Any suggestion as to wh=
ere=20
i might be going wrong?
