[Preston] Firewall error packets

Does anyone know what could be causing these messages? I've only started 
noticing them in the last few days in syslog. They've only started appearing 
since I re-organised my disks. 

192.168.1.9 is nick, running Debian sarge. 192.168.1.1 is my ADSL router. I'm 
getting occasional flurries of messages such as:

Feb 10 21:33:01 nick kernel: UDP: bad checksum. From 192.168.1.1:4096 to 
192.168.1.9:514 ulen 99

and it's probably about time I had a closer look at them.
