Hi

has anyone got any recommendations for a controller hardware that has the following attributes;

256MB RAM (DIMM) or more
Ethernet port
Comms port (for terminal access)
Some method of interfacing with the outside world - serial preferred but not USB but directly driven/addressable from the processor would be OK
A2D input etc would be very nice.
CF slot
Some form of onboard BIOS that will support PXE boot or similar.
Supports Linuxas the OS
Cheap

Have I mentioned cheap yet - well it needs to be cheaper than that.. Less than £100.

Hardware performance not an issue - it will be used as a data collection tool, so 386/486/ARM etc all OK, but has to be commercially available - ie we're not buildind kits or going into production for this.

Whats it for? I am building (with the British Astronomical Association) a Radio Telescope (well actually 4 off - all on different frequencies) for use by your average home user. We need a controller - and this will be it.

Thanks

Martyn
