I use both.  I personally dislike the new Redhat desktop, but find SuSE a big 
install for a simple server.  I am thinking of moving all servers over to 
Debian at the beginning of next year, for ease of maintenance.

I'd suggest to try them both and see which you prefer, or consider Mandrake as 
a Redhat alternative - it is on the Jan 2003 DVD coverdisk of PCW.  Mandrake 
is a bit buggy compared to RH or SuSE, but is popular for those easing 
themselves into Linux from WIndows.
