OK,
So after a day of posting I see the following results:
NOTE: Steve Dobson's vote was split 50:50 between vi and XEmacs as he
claimed to switch between them dependant on task.
vi (vim, etc) : 4.5 votes
emacs (xemacs, etc) : 1.5 votes
notepad : 1 vote
joe : 1 vote
Seems that vi is by far the most popular in our little straw poll (although,
unless you are loreal then 8 people is hardly a representative sample). I
predict that, had Nik and Jon voted we'd have another 2 vi users (though I
can't claim this as fact, but I'm pretty sure).
Under the Loreal rule I hereby annouce that vi is proven to reduce visible
signs of aging in 56.25% of people tested ;)
