That is NOT going to work - it's the wrong plugs and is wired differently.

You mentioned a hub - if you are using one then you need two straight
cables, one from each PC to the hub.

Otherwise you could use a single crossover cable between the two PCs.

Each cable should cost a couple of quid or so dependant on length.
