[Sussex] Spam filter in Evolution

Hi all,

I am using Evolution as my mail client and even though it says it has
built in Spam filtering this never seems to move any email automatically
to the junk folders.

I know you can use spamassassin with Evolution but is this necessary
given the built in filtering? Have I just got to give it time to mark
more emails as Junk before it picks up on them or should I set
spamassassin to check all the incoming emails?
