I am fascinated by Gentoo, especially after your presentation on it a
few months ago.

When we get broadband at home, I may well give it a go - I recently
built a second machine just for the purpose of learning more & trying
new things. However, it's not lost on me that installing Gentoo would be
about the same level of learning curve as when I first installed Debian
as a complete newbie in JAN-02.
