[Sussex] Keyboard mapping with synergy

Hi all,
I'm using synergy, the keyboard/mouse sharing software, with my two desktops
at work, synergy server on Windows 2000 and client on Ubuntu.
It works almost perfectly, bar the @ (at symbol), which appears as Ω (omega
symbol I think), on the Ubuntu machine, which is the client). I've looked
around the synergy site and can't see any obvious solutions or workarounds.
There do seem to be a number of known issues similar to this though!
So my question is, does anyone have any good suggestions for working around
this? could I do something like remapping the keys? I've not been able to
find any easy answers on the web so far.
Cheers
Colin
BTW... I heartily recommend this setup for working on - I needed to keep
Windows for my software development, but adding another screen and a Linux
desktop really made my life easier. Plus I am using a 400Mhz Celeron for
Ubuntu which had been discarded anyway, and since it is the same distro I
use at home there is almost no time wasted on learning curve.
