Then, the size of the Ubuntu download is normally about 500MB, there is 
also a DVD version which I think was about 3GB, from memory. And, you do 
only require the CD version.

Now, when you install ensure that the broadband is ethernet connected, 
and live, and then the updates will be done following the install, takes 
a while so just let it get it get on with it.
