Guilty as charged :-( In mitigation I was on stage (amdram) in Narberth
at the time and I thought I had said, humble apologies to all.
I would really like to come to meetings on the second Thursday because
my village community association have their meeting on the first Thursday.

I have recently joined the Carmarthen Computer Users Group who meet on
the first Wed every month in a nice venue which could be hired at £15 a
night. The venue is in Priory Street and there is plenty of power points
etc, and a car park opposite (Lidl's) The said group have just acquired
a very nice projector, which I could ask them to lend us as it is stored
away for the rest of the month.
The CCUG people are very nice but I think I was the youngest at the
meeting and they are mostly just talking about nursing their aging Win98
machines along and such things, although at the last meeting I did a
little talk on The Open CD and Live Linux distros (very badly if I may
say so myself) I'm sure someone more used to doing this could have done
better.
Again sincere apologies to all for not being there last time!
Dick
