Hi Pete
If your son wants to get linux on the uni network tell him to contact
Lyn Rees
He works in their IT department and is a Linux nut - as most of them are!
email: reeslt at cardiff.ac.uk
he should be able to help although its not exactly his job. I've cc'ed
him in this message so he knows to what to expect.
good luck and nice to 'e-meet' you
Kris
