It's generally pretty rare that we've had lots of people coming along in the
time that I've been coming along.

Which is what it comes down to for most people. We don't have a big
membership, we're not always going to get loads of people.

Errr, nope, already have enough stuff on. I'd never propose myself.

I think that doing talks and the odd meal social alongside the more normal pub
meets would be a good way to go.

Personally I really like the tuesday night pub nights. If it were at the
weekend I probably wouldn't go. Also unless we are able to use FoundersHub, I
suspect we'll struggle to find a decent venue in the middle of Cardiff. However
I wouldn't mind paying a few quid towards venue hire.

An option might be to start at a coffee shop (some are open till 8pm) and then
move on to a pub?

However as I've said repeatedly, if you want to do something for the LUG,
decide what you want to do, find a venue and go for it. It normally works
well.

Cheers,

Matt
