[Westwales] More MDK 10.0 Problems

It didn't happen in 9.2 nor in any of the previous versions,  but when I shut 
down Mandrake 10.0 it switches off the on-board Broadcom 4401 100Base-T 
network controller.  When I then reboot into Windows I have no network 
connection, Windows it seems is unable to switch it back on. and tells me the 
network is unplugged :-) 

Can one of you clever chaps tell me how I stop it from doing this?
