Clickatell a fan-*beep*-ing-tastic. Great, reliable, fast and VERY
friendly. They have loads of APIs - all FLOSS friendly, HTTP calls,
SMTP, TAP, FTP(?!) - all sorts.

They also give you 10 free credits when you sign up. Which is enough for
about, oh, 6 free test texts.
