Toshiba Japan has a page

http://linux.toshiba-dme.co.jp/linux/eng/installinfo.htm

with install information, albeit contributed by users, and full hardware specs
for all their laptops.

I will say I have had some minor issues with the suspend-to-ram - it seems
less reliable if I use the function key to do it rather than

sudo /etc/acpi/sleep.sh

but that works essentially perfectly.
