you may want to try Roseville Enterprises[1] a Leeds City Council
(?)scheme where disabled people are given work including recycling
computers. I think they are even certified with regards to data wiping.

if you dont have any luck there freecycle is surely a good place to
offer them and there's also a useful resource called it IT 4 Charities
