This is the acticle and I wonder if David Mitchell is a member of this
list? However, as Dell are now flogging ubuntu, I guess they will take
the line Mark suggested. However, it may work for PC suppliers who do
not offer linux. Would be interesting to try...............

Good luck with that - I tried that recently with Dell, and they said no,
if you didn't want windows you should have bought one of our ubuntu
laptops. But maybe I didn't phrase the question right.
