[Wylug-discuss] How do you get Linux jobs?

This email reminds me of something I intended to mention for a while.
Its probably a hopeless cause sent to the wrong mailing list but here
goes.

I run a company in East Africa selling services around an open source
finance/accounting system. I regularly need decent staff with IT and
erp experience. Unfortunately these people are very hard to find out
here. I had this stupid idea that maybe some one back home in the UK
may like the chance of spending some time in East Africa, helping
customers and helping train staff. The life is interesting, and the
work is often in places the tourists never see. The down side is that
we are an African business with African finances, paying African
wages. This isn't a chance to make big money, but a chance to see
things that you wouldn't normally see, and get a very interesting
entry on your cv. Obviously we would meet all expenses, and give out a
salary in our normal range.

If anyone is interested, or knows anyone who may be interested then I
will be in Wakefield for a couple of weeks from this weekend and would
be happy to discuss this further.

Probably a stupid idea but..........

Tim
