Thanks for all your replies.
I've checked all of them but they do not throw up any answers.
However, I am aware that some isp require a valid reverse dns or they will reject email.
I notice that the reverse dns lookup on this server is:
195.8.178.184 PTR record: mail.gvl99.co.uk. [TTL 86400s] [A=195.8.178.184] (setup by my isp)

I have another server, where mail is being accepted from the senders (all using freeserve) and the reverse dns lookup is:
82.68.28.33 PTR record: 82-68-28-33.dsl.in-addr.zen.co.uk. [TTL 86400s] [A=82.68.28.33] (setup by my isp)

Is it possible that mail.gvl99.co.uk is not recognised since it does not contain in-addr ???

I am not well enough up on reverse dns lookup, but all I have read does say ..*in-addr*..

Does anybody have any better knowledge about this ???
