I would endorse that as I was using a USB connection for Blueyonder
broadband with Mandrake with intermittent success, but then I plugged
an ethernet cable into the SA Webstar modem & removed the USB
(power down the modem & power it up again BTW) and it worked straight
away & has ever since.
Like mine, your modem may already have an ethernet conncection available.
