Looks pretty intuitive once you use the tooltips, but not great otherwise.
Mostly due to icons that suck.  Whoever thought that a bar chart means log to
a file...


So you prod KDE System Notifications as the Event Source.  This is all the
things 'KDE' will prod you about.  You get a tables with a bunch of columns.
One of them is events which describes what the event is, and two to the left
of that is 'sound'.  If there's an icon in that column, it'll make a sound.
Click it to make it not make a sound.  The column to the right of that is
'flash the taskbar entry'.

Pick what you want.

Honestly when you combine that with the 'Turn Off All' button which can
selectively apply to all applications, I think that's actually pretty good.

Taking a quick peek over at a windows machine, it looks pretty similar but
more limited and it doesn't describe the events as well, and can't control any
visible alerts.
