[Wylug-help] TalkTalk and Linux

Sorry if this is OT.

I have a Slackware based PC currently running fine as a firewall for our
home network. It connects to a telewest (blueyonder) cable modem through
RJ45 to a NetGear NIC. Slackware setup was real easy.

Now, The SWMBO (She who must...) has asked me if we can change to TalkTalk
for the broadband as they are offering "Free broadband Forever", thus saving
£17.99 per month.

I notice that the talktalk website only supports other OS's, and the cable
modem only has a USB connection.
Do you think Slackware Version 10 will be able to work with TalkTalk?

Anybody have any experience (good or bad) with this?

Any comments gratefully received.

Kind regards

Nick Thomas
