That seems good spec hardware for a good price to me.

My only other suggestion is to think very carefully about how
state will be preserved with failover. DB replication is good,
but you'll have to take care to ensure that it stays in sync at
all times since the load balancer won't know how to keep it in
sync (or check) when it swaps over.
