Any decent mailing list software spots the double reply and leaves the
original sender out of the list of recipients from the reply. This is
mailing list dev 101 - all modern lists will do this.

There is ABSOLUTELY no need for this if your mailing list manager is sensible.

I am willing to bet that "for most people" in that sentence actually
equates to "for me".

Like I mentioned, I do not know of ANY OTHER mailing list that behaves
like this one.

Even Google Groups doesn't munge the reply to header. Are you really
going to stick to your argument of "most people" given that the
biggest mailing list manager on the earth doesn't do this?
