I checked our Fedora development branch (=rawhide) which is on track for the
next release (f15) and current build is
xorg-x11-drv-intel-2.14.0-1.fc15<http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=214012>
so
maybe it is fixed there - and if so it is possible the driver will be
backported to f14 (current stable) once it is verified as working as a
package without other bugs cropping up that were not there before! - not
sure what the corresponding Ubuntu process is?
