Dont know if you received my mail about zenwalk walking over my vista operating system sent the other day. Or perhaps it was just too stupid a thing to attempt! Anyhow, I would love to get my laptop back, and any help you can muster would be gratefully received. As I hope I made clear, I am on the Scottish border, so a bit off your patch, but I was advised to try your group as it is reported to be extra-active and knowledgeable. All I need to know is ...if I use the recovery disc Zoostorm sent me, will I still have windows to play with, or does it wipe the lot. There are many warnings that I will lose all unsaved data, but does that include operating systems?

Thanks

John
