[HLUG] Audio from Capture Card to Sound Card

Thanks for this suggestion Matt! - It has also been suggested to me by another, although 'internally' with the (supplied) cable with small multi-blocks at each end (I'm not sure what the correct terminology is for these) - I presume you mean with a cable with stereo mini-jacks at each end, externally? - I'll try both, but I'm still puzzled why this should be necessary, when it isn't with the supplied software which runs in Windoze? ... Perhaps 'tvtime' would benefit from an 'upgrade', or needs the appropriate Linux drivers? ...

I've put Myth onto the 'backburner' for a while ... For when I'm feeling very patient ... Seems to be a problem with the 'backend' (wouldn't it be?!) when I try ...

'Tis a pity that a fully functional application to configure capture cards automatically at install isn't available yet with any Linux distro, as far as I know ... Multi-media never was my technical 'niche' - Seems as though it has to be with Linux for the moment ... Most new desktops come with capture cards these dayz ...

Chris.
